Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) employees have detained a Russian citizen who performed the tasks of the Russian military intelligence in Lviv (western Ukraine), the SBU press service has told Ukrinform.

"A Russian citizen who, on the instruction of the Russian military intelligence, had to create a network of agents from among former and current military servicemen, was detained in Lviv on July 30," reads the statement. According to the press service, the man had to pass secret information to his curators who coordinated his actions from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.
