Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said that Cabinet of Ministers will appoint dismissed Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko as acting First Deputy Interior Minister, she said on Thursday in Kherson.
"He will head the ministry and will prevent election fraud," Tymoshenko stated. Commenting on Lutsenko's dismissal at today's special meeting of the parliament, the Prime Minister noted that 'the reaction of the parliament was anticipated as the minister prevented vote fraud and seizure of the Ukraina Printing Company'. As reported, the Verkhovna Rada has today fired Interior Minister Lutsenko at the initiative of the Party of Regions. The dismissal was also backed by the Communists, the Bloc of Lytvyn and the pro-presidential OU-PSD.
