The typhoid situation in Transcarpathia is under control

In Transcarpathian region in the typhoid locales the complex of anti-epidemic, disinfectant and sanitary-hygienic measures is under way.As the Ministry of Public Health press service announced, according to the Transcarpathian regional sanitary-epidemiologic station, as of 07:00 on December 15th, 26 people were under inpatient care (9 at the Uzhgorod city infection hospital, 17 at the central district hospital of the town of Perechyn). The typhoid diagnoses are confirmed in 7 people.



The disease is of the medium and light degrees of complexity.



On December 14th one person was discharged from the regional infection hospital in Uzhgorod (the typhoid diagnosis was not confirmed).



The situation is under control of the Transcarpathian directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Sitiations.
