    Chivas USA defender Ante Jazic, has been named to the Canadian National Team for World Cup Qualifying matches against St. Lucia and Puerto Rico,Cedric Benson Jersey. The first match against St. Lucia is scheduled for Friday September 2 at BMO Field in Toronto Canada, 5 p.m. PT. and the second qualifier will take place in the Caribbean when Canada takes on Puerto Rico in Estadio Juan Ramón Loubriel in Bayamón on Tuesday September 6, 5 p.m,Rashard Mendenhall Jersey.     Jazic made his debut for Canada in a May 1998 friendly match against Macedonia and has up to January 2010, earned a total of 24 caps, scoring one goal. He has represented Canada in 6 FIFA World Cup qualification matches and was a member of the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup squad,Shonn Greene Youth Jersey.

    This is Jazic’s first call up to Canada in over a year. The Halifax, Nova Scotia 35 year old savvy veteran defender for the Goats represented Canada in FIFA World Cup™ Qualifiers in 2004 (Canada reached CONCACAF semifinal round), he helped Canada reach the semi-final stage of the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup and represented Canada in FIFA World Cup™ Qualifiers in 2008 (Canada reached CONCACAF semifinal round).
