An icon in honor of... Nicholas II - the Russian Emperor.

A correspondent Uzhgorod.in saw and captured this image in the Holy Trinity Church, located in the Bozdosh park. It is an Orthodox church of Moscow Patriarchate.

In Russia, the royal Romanov family indeed was canonized. But what does it have to do with the capital of the most western region of Ukraine - Uzhgorod? A rhetorical question.

It seems the fact does not need any further comments. We will only remind that the church was built in the recreational area without any permits. Currently, the church complex in the park includes several buildings.
