Bukovel ski resort hosting FIS Freestyle European Cup

The FIS Freestyle European Cup - Aerials is getting underway at the Bukovel Ski Resort, west of Ukraine, March 4-5, with teams from Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Switzerland.

According to tournament director Vasyl Korovytsky, athletes have already had official trainings, and Ukrainian and foreign observers are satisfied with them. "A good estimate of the official competitions has been given by one of the organizers of the future Olympics in Sochi, Russian official Gennadiy Belous," Korovitsky said. In his words, these competitions are rating and run on a European level. The organizers of the championship are the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports, Ski Federation of Ukraine and International Ski Federation.
