Chief rabbi of Russia has doubts about democracy existence in Ukraine

"The system that allows legal spreading of xenophobia views is a travesty of democracy", Chief rabbi of Russia Berl Lazar said during a meeting with Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

This was disclosed to Interfax by the press service of Cief rabbi of Russia. Interfax also reminded that at the beginning of September Berl Lazar visited Uzhhorod to express solidarity with the local Jews community who were offended by anti-Semite statements of Uzhhorod mayor Serhiy Ratushnyak.
