During its plenary meeting on Friday, the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine discharged Defense Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov.
The discharge was supported by 363 of 450 people's deputies. Under the Constitution, the candidacy for the defense minister's post is put forward by the President of Ukraine.
