Epidemic threshold exceeded in 12 regions

The influenza and ARI epidemic has already hit 12 Ukrainian regions, the Health Ministry has reported.

The most affected areas are Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Sumy, Volyn, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolayiv, Poltava, Cherkasy regions, as well as Crimea and Sevastopol. Overall, 2,690,563 people have been affected by influenza and ARI, including 143,194 persons over the past 24 hours. A total of 507 people have died of flu, ARI, including 6 persons over the past 24 hours.
