Government submits ministerial candidacies

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has submitted to Verkhovna Rada (parliament) draft resolution on the appointment of some members of government.

In keeping with the document registered in parliament, it is proposed that Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Rector Mykhailo Zghurovskyi and Kryvy Rih Mayor Yuriy Liubonenko be appointed deputy prime ministers. Fedir Yaroshenko was moved forward for the post of the finance minister, Tariel Vasadze for the minister of transport and communications, and Viktor Shemchuk for the minister of justice. A number of oppositional Party of Regions' resolutions on dismissal of some ministers were also put on the parliamentary website.
