Kiev: Tarasiuk thinks that it is too early for Ukraine to enter EU

It is not time now for Ukraine to apply for the entry into the European Union. The statement was made by Boris Tarasiuk, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.



As he said, he made the conclusion after numerous consultations with representatives of European commission and other European partners.



Let us remind that on January of 2004 Victor Yuschenko stated that Ukraine is going to apply for the EU entry at the nearest time. Yuschenko predicts the entry of Ukraine into EU earlier that 2016. Ukrainian powers earlier stated that they hope to carry out negotiations till the 2007 for granting a status of associated EU member to Ukraine.
