Kyiv-Chop highway will be built by UEFA EURO 2012

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko promises that the construction of the Kyiv - Chop highway will be completed by the beginning of the 2012 European Football Championship.

She made this promise during the ceremony of launching traffic by a 30-kilometer sector of the road in Rivne region (western Ukraine). Highway M-06 Kyiv-Chop on its sector from Chop to Lviv is part of the 5th International Transport Corridor, and on the Lviv-Kyiv sector it is part of the 3rd International Transport Corridor. Ukraine and Poland won UEFA's tender for hosting the 2012 European football finals.
