The military personnel laid a giant garland of crimson roses at the Eternal Fire memorial.
Fifty-seven leaders of states, governments and international organizations watched the military parade on Red Square together with the Russian President.
The Russian State Enthem concluded the ceremony. It was followed by a photo session.
Later, the guests walked to the State Concert Hall to attend the solemn reception on behalf of Vladimir and Lyudmila Putin on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Great Victory.
