Ukraine's leaders congratulate nation on coming New Year and Christmas

President Viktor Yushchenko expressed his hope for the next year to be happy and successful that will bring new victories to Ukraine, a democratic European state, economic, stability, national consolidation and unity.

Ukrainian Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn reminded that a New Year will start with the most important event for Ukraine- the presidential election and he said that our country's future depends very much on its results. Premier Yulia Tymoshenko expressed her confidence of the Ukrainian nation being able to overcome all difficulties and to develop a free, prosperous, happy country that will become one of the leading countries in Europe.
