Ukraine Waves Visas for EU Countries

The Kiev administration is realizing a series of initiatives on the way to accession to the European Union (EU). Since Victor Yushchenko's election as President, Ukraine now aims to be a member of the Union by 2007.



Within this framework, Ukraine has lifted visas for EU countries.



The Russian news agency Interfax reports that in a meeting with businessmen, Yushchenko said the visas would be lifted in the following days.
