The production of automobiles in September was 2.7% more than in August. In total, over 7,000 vehicles were made last month, newspaper Delo says.

In the biggest sector of this industry, the production of passenger cars, the best growth dynamics was reported by EuroCar(Transcarpathia), which makes Skoda models. Its output was fourfold up in August. The September indicators of the major producers of passenger cars, corporations UkrAVTO (making ZAZ and VAZ cars) and Bogdan (VAZ, Hyundai), remained practically unchanged from August. The output of trucks rose by 2.4% to 256. Buses took the lead by production volume, their output have grown by over 21% against August.
