The state customs service implements a project of the multifunctional system e-Customs.

As chairman of the State Customs Service Anatoliy Makarenko noted at the project's presentation, the aim of implementing electronic declaration technologies is minimization of bureaucratic procedures, a subjective factor and, as a result, reduction of corruption risks. According to experts, implementation of the project will allow to provide the state power bodies with urgent and authentic statistical information, to raise efficiency of fighting the contraband, fraud, organized crimes and terrorism, to reinforce efficient control over observation of the established bans and restrictions for removal of separate goods across the customs border of Ukraine and to raise efficiency of the customs service management.
