Nearly a hundred representatives from the local government and public organizations in Lviv, Transcarpathia (Zakarpattia), Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions arrived in Lviv on June 21 to attend a training course on the development and management of local and regional development projects, which will be held with the assistance of Lviv Regional Council.
The council's deputy chairman, Petro Kolodiy, told the media that the course had been organized as part of the EU-funded project, entitled "Support to Sustainable Regional Development in Ukraine," aimed at providing assistance to the Ukrainian government in the formation of the regional development system in line with the best international practices. The partner of the EU project is the Ukrainian Regional Development and Construction Ministry.
