Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said his government is introducing sanctions against 65 companies.

"The sanctions passed to the NSDC (National Security and Defense Council) concern 65 companies, mainly with Russian property and Russian residents, who support and finance terrorism and are directly involved in crimes committed on Ukrainian territory," Yatseniuk told a press conference in Kyiv on Friday after a closed Cabinet meeting. The government has proposed adding to its sanctions a ban on political parties and public and religious organizations, according to the bill "On sanctions" approved by the Ukrainian government on Friday. The possibility of introducing this ban is being proposed as a type of sanction in one of the clauses of the bill. In addition, the bill cuts cultural exchanges, scientific cooperation, educational and sports relations, entertainment programs involving foreign countries and foreign companies. The document also proposes banning transfer of technologies, rights to intellectual property and stripping of Ukrainian state honors. Under the bill, international agreements mandated by the Ukrainian parliament could be terminated. Formal visits, sessions and negotiations on the subject of agreement signing can also be canceled.
