US continues to massively detain peaceful protesters: Tips from Ukraine

Friends, I’m sorry that I’ve thought to someone else’s garden, but only as part of my worries about events in the USA, but that I would advise our American partners this coming weekend.

In the framework of friendly theses to our main foreign policy partners, we would advise immediately to release all the detainees, and those responsible for their detention and the use of force to bring to justice. The right to peaceful protest must be respected, and for the leadership of this country, the time has come for a long time to listen to the voice of their people.

Nothing personal, dear friends, I simply copied word-for-word from the December 2013 statement of the US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland addressed to Ukraine.

We fully agree with these useful points, we share our concern and express hope that peaceful protesters will be quickly released and heard.

Probably, I would not come up with a new one and recommend to be guided by this thesis:

“It is absolutely essential that the protests this weekend be allowed to pass peacefully and we continue to urge the government to hear the voice of its people.”
